A qualitative graduate research study on how NIL affects the recruitment and retention of Division I collegiate athletes.

Study Purpose

The purpose of this qualitative study is to examine how NIL affects the recruitment and retention of Division I collegiate athletes through the perspectives of football coaches.

Methodology

This study uses a qualitative research design with open-ended survey questions to collect coach perspectives. Responses will be reviewed for themes related to NIL, recruiting, retention, athlete expectations, roster management, and program adaptation.

Participant Eligibility

Current or former football coaches at the Division I level. All position groups and coaching ranks are welcome.

Confidentiality

Participation is voluntary. Responses will remain confidential and will be used for academic research purposes.
